A break from Nyssa extras: this was taken at the UW greenhouses. I honestly can't remember what plant this was, but if I ever remember to look, I'll let you know.

Daily Deviation

Given 2009-04-01

I have deviated away from my gallery for today, and the one thing I jumped to feature is Bubbly stem by =SqueakingShoeless, the instant I saw it, I was blown away. Since then I wished I could feature it, and today I get the chance to. At first I thought it was a vector, but then i looked closure, it's mesmerizing, whimsical, soft on the eyes, and looks like a jewel, I can't help but stare at this refreshing piece of art. The artist played with the depth of field and colours beautifully. (Featured by `FaMz)

It's been edited a bit, but only cosmetically (to clean it up and brighten the colors a titch). The stem looks exactly like this in the original photo, minus the coloring and curves work. :)
